Beauty No. 2 and My Hustler Screening Flier, 1966. (8 ½ x 11 in.) Offset Lithograph flier, blue ink on pink paper. Excellent condition. This is a flier for a screening of two films directed by Andy Warhol at the Boston incarnation of Jonas Mekas’ Filmmaker’s Cinematheque on February 21-22. Beauty No. 2 stars Edie Sedgwick, Gino Piserchio, and Chuck Wein and runs 66 mins. My Hustler, filmed on Fire Island, stars Paul America and Joseph Campbell, and follows the lives of a workers at a “Dial-a-Hustler” service. Both films were released in 1965, and were screened shortly after the opening of the Boston chapter of Filmmakers Cinematheque. Boo-Hooray has rated this one of the top 100 Counter Culture posters of all time. Super rare obscure collectors' item for hard core Warhol fans. Besides this very one - we've never found another.
