We have never seen another one of these anywhere in the world in nearly two decades of collecting, dealing and being immersed in Warhol memorabilia. This is a super rare - beyond scarce - elegantly designed historic offset lithograph fold-out invitation to the opening reception of Andy Warhol at PACE/COLUMBUS, held on March 5th, 1978 at PACE/COLUMBUS in Columbus Ohio. The invitation was printed in a very limited edition. It expressly states "ARTIST WILL BE PRESENT", and was boldly signed and inscribed by Andy Warhol on the back flap during the signing event. Warhol signed this invitation at the opening reception. This invitation alone is a collectors item as it was created in Warhol's lifetime for a show he attended personally, and is extremely scarce and rarely seen. When hand signed, as the present work, it is a true collectors item. Please see additional photographs for full text inside the folded invitation. Beyond scarce collectors item.
