Wolf Kahn
Marlboro Vermont Community Fair 20th Anniversary
Offset lithograph poster
Hand signed in ink by Wolf Kahn, dated '02 and warmly inscribed:
"For Bill and Joan who would have predicted 20 years for the fair?"
Proenance: Gifted by Wolf Kahn to Bill and Joan Crowell, who formed the close friendship with Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason in Marlboro.
Bill Crowell: A highly prominent Marlboro community member, local logger, and builder, Bill Crowell was a deeply trusted friend of Wolf Kahn. For decades, Wolf Kahn and his wife Emily Mason split their time between New York City and their hillside farm in Marlboro, Vermont. When Kahn wanted to build his dream painting studio on the property, Bill Crowell was the local builder who constructed Wolf Kahn's Marlboro art studio.
Joan Crowell is a distinguished figure in her own right—she is a classical composer, poet, author, and an active pillar of the Marlboro community.
In 2026, the Marlboro Vermont Community Fair celebrated it's 43rd Anniversary
