This uncommon, dazzling hand signed and unnumbered limited edition Sol LeWitt silkscreen was created on the occasion of his 1980 exhibition at Galleria Ugo Ferranti in Roma, Italia. The gallery was located in Via di Tor Millina 26 in Rome, Italy. Around the classic geometric shapes is a yellow border with details about the exhibition: the name of the artist -and the date of the solo show - dal 19 settembre 1980 (from the 19th of September 1980) - on the higher and on the lower margin, respectively; the name of the gallery - Ugo Ferranti - and the address - Tor Millina 26 Roma - on the left and on the right margin. And most important, the hand signature of the artist on the lower right. Galleria Ugo Ferranti was one of the premiere galleries in Rome and a point of reference for the artists of the city.
Provenance: Acquired from Wallector Gallery in Rome, Italy via Artspace, USA. Wallector acquired several signed Lewitt posters from the Ferranti Gallery collection
