Superb Investment. Unconditionally Guaranteed Authentic Forever.

This one-of-a-kind rare unique original drawing of a heart, star and circle makes a perfect gift to yourself or a lover of Pop Art legend Peter Blake and/or a lover of British Pop – or just a hopelessly romantic art lover like all of us! The highly collectible hand signed drawing by British Pop legend Peter Blake is on his personal watermarked stationery with letterhead. Original drawings by Peter Blake are elusive and very hard to come by.

Peter Blake is one of the most successful British Pop artists to gain prominence in the fabulous Sixties, and his work can be found in major museums and collections worldwide. It was with the 'Young Contemporaries' exhibition of 1961 where he exhibited alongside David Hockney and R.B. Kitaj that he first burst onto the international Pop art scene. Peter Blake also famously designed the album cover for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which went on to become the first rock album to win a Grammy for Album of the Year - and today, nearly half a century later, it remains one of the top 10 albums of all time worldwide. Blake is said to have only been paid £200 for the work - about US $32 - without ever receiving any royalties. Though if there ever were a commission that promised an artist he would live on its glory for the rest of his life - this was it!

This work was acquired from an established professional autograph and memorabilia company in the United Kingdom, and it is guaranteed authentic forever. It is undated.

Highly Collectible - a good investment because it's so difficult to find original drawings by Blake. Would look terrific framed.
