Description

This is the elegant First Edition hardback catalogue with blue cloth wrap, held in a slipcase published in Italy in 1983 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild to coincide with the European opening of the exhibition, "Mouton Rothschild: Paintings for the Labels 1945-1981", at the Royal Scottish Academy, as part of the 1983 Edinburgh Festival. Circulation of the exhibition in the United States was later organized by the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service.

This beautiful clothbound copy was published by the New York Graphic Society and Little, Brown & Company.
