This work is number 176 from the series of 200 unique hand-painted record sleeves created in collaboration with MCA Chicago, and produced by The Vinyl Factory and Telephone Records, London. The record contains four songs recorded by Creed and his band in collaboration with the MCA as part of a year-long residency.
Martin Creed's #Work 1370 is a limited edition of 200 hand-painted record sleeves containing four new songs on heavyweight vinyl recorded by the Turner Prize winner and his band as part of a year-long residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.  #Work 1370 will be released in celebration of Martin Creed Plays Chicago - the US premiere of Martin Creed's first ballet, presented in the MCA Chicago's theatre on 15 November 2012. For this performance, his first ballet, Creed plays lead guitar with his London-based band, joined by phenomenal dancers from the original Sadler Wells production. Creed’s challenge—to compose a work using only the five core positions of classical ballet, each paired with a musical note—creates the conditions for a beguiling collision of rules and spontaneity.Tracklisting:
