This unique work on paper is by renowned and still underrated artist Lois Dodd (born in 1927). In August, 2025, the Financial Times published a major feature entitled, "Why American painter Lois Dodd is finally getting her dues at age 98." (In 2023 , at the age of 95 was the subject of a major retrospective at the Bruce Museum in CT, along with a glowing New York Times profile. Simultaneous highly acclaimed European and North American gallery and museum exhibitions followed in 2024, along with a lavisly illustrated monograph on the artist, and today, at age 98, she is one of the art world's "IT Girls!". )
