This is an extremely rare, highly collectible 2-sided lithograph publicizing the opening of the Joan Miro exhibition at Galerie Maeght in 1953. This is a beautiful invitation on elegant lithographic paper - as would be expected from Maeght, one of Europe's top publishers. The front of the invitation features a Miro lithograph to the left, and the right side bears the following text:
Vous êtes prié d'honorer de votre présence le vernissage de l'exposition des oeuvres récentes de Joan Miró qui aura lieu le vendredi 19 Juin 1953, à 16 heures.
