DAVID HOCKNEY Rare Hand Signed Framed Poster great Provenance & Dedication

Description

For offer here is an extremely rare hand signed offset lithograph from the Exhibition in the early 1980s "David Hockney Drawing with a Camera" at the legendary Andre Emmerich Gallery in New York City.

The print is hand signed and personally dedicated with love to Bayat from David Hockney.

What makes this piece so spectacular is that Bayat is Bayat Keerl, who was the former director of the Andre Emmerich Gallery in the early 1980s. Bayat is also an artist, who used the professional name Beet Keerl for exhibitions.
We bought this work directly from him, along with some other amazing memorabilia from his time working at the Emmerich Gallery. We also learned so much from him about the New York art scene in the 1980s. Bayat kept this very special and uniquely inscribed Hockney piece in his personal collection since the 1980s -- so it's completely fresh to market and we're honored to have been able to buy it from him.
The authenticity of this hand signed and personally dedicated work is unconditionally guaranteed forever - no questions, no quibbles, and the provenance is fascinating and impeccable. Any questions, please ask. As always we will furnish the winning buyer with a Certificate of Guarantee.
This is exactly the kind of art historical ephemera, with impeccable provenance, that we specialize in, and we are proud to have acquired this rare vintage piece - hand signed by David Hockney - one of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st century -- bar none -- with such a unique personal dedication, from the former director of David Hockney's gallery -- a very talented artist in his own right, by the way.
The specifics: this offset lithograph is large, measuring 35.5 inches (vertical) by 27 inches (horizontal).

NOTE: This work ships UNFRAMED in the continental US and internationally. We will carefully remove it from the frame and have it shipped to you. However, we are keeping it in the frame until it's sold, in case the winning bidder is in the New York region and wishes to pick it up in person, or otherwise arrange for local delivery.
