This beautiful watercolor by Billy Al Bengston would make a great addition to any art collection.   Now in his mid-80s Bengston, known as one of the "California Cool" artists who burst on the the scene in the 1960s and 1970s, is experiencing a renaissance of sorts - included in a major retrospective and group shows at several major museums along with friends and contemporaries like Ed Ruscha. This work is framed in the original 1970s metal frame with plexiglass and is accompanied by the original 1975 purchase receipt. Truly one of the best BAB watercolors we've seen from this era.
