Registered with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation #88.D109.
This work was gifted by the artist to the original owner, and bears a unique inscription and signature. The original frame bore a label from a frame shop in Sanibel Island Florida. It has since been elegantly floated and re-framed in a contemporary hand made wood museum frame with UV plexiglass. Sanibel Island is near Captiva Island, where Rauschenberg famously lived and worked in the 1980s. It is presumed that Brian was one of his former assistants, or someone who had assisted the artist on one of his projects.

Very good original condition; there is some very minor creasing to the board visible up close and not affecting the work.
