This rare and desirable Robert Indiana silkscreen, published in blue and white (the colors of the Israeli flag) depict the Hebrew word AHAVA, meaning LOVE in English. The silkscreen is based upon Robert Indiana's monumental sculpture "AHAVA", done in cor-ten steel, now in the permanent collection of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. This work is elegantly matted in a white mat with blue beveled edges and and a white frame. It looks beautiful! The work is signed, titled "AHAVA", the English transliteration of the Hebrew, dated 5753 in the Jewish calendar (or 1993), and numbered from the limited edition of 150.
