Dimensions: 72" high x 67" wide.
Pamela Avril began training in art at Interlochen Arts Academy, and continued with a BFA from the California Institute of the Arts and an MFA from Bennington College. She received a Guggenheim Fellowship in Painting and the Yale at Norfolk Art Program fellowship. She has exhibited solo in NYC, at Union College, NY, with two person shows at Marist College, NY and Woodstock, NY, as well as numerous group shows.
She has lectured at Chautauqua Institution, Bard College, Union College and Amrita University, India and has taught at New York Studio School, Chautauqua, Bard College, SVA, SUNY Purchase, and San Francisco Art Institute.
A portion of her paintings have been used by the charitable organization, “Embracing the World”, accompanying the U.S. tours of humanitarian and contemplative, Mata Amritanandamayi.
Her work is shown in collections worldwide.
Ms. Avril is married to the world renowned sculptor William Tucker.
