This six color screenprint on hand torn archival paper. As a homage to David Bowie after his passing, Mr. Brainwash re-released one of his classic prints based on David Bowie's "Aladdin Sane" album. The re=release of "Bowie" was Mr. Brainwash's first print offering of 2016, and it sold out minutes after it went on sale.
Mr. Brainwash, an avid student of popular culture, created this print because "David Bowie was an icon who transcended music and pop culture during his time. His music and performances influenced many of the past's and today's artists. A true living legend among his peers."
This work is in excellent condition and is signed and numbered in pencil on the front, with the artist's unique thumbprint and date of 2016 on the back. It was acquired directly from the artist.
