This rare, hand signed, dated and annotated Mel Ramos silkscreen is from an hors commerce edition of five Roman Numeral prints (number V/V) aside from the signed deluxe edition of 150. (This should not to be confused with the regular, unsigned edition of 3000 that was included in the Domberger Pop Art Calendar of 1972 - hence the title "hero". ) This is an especially collectible and desirable hand signed silkscreen; one of only five that were originally set aside for the artist and publisher - and not sold or marketed to the public. Fine condition; framed and ready to hang.
