This whimsical shadow box display by Kiki Smith showcases her homage to these beloved female musicians: a handwritten note, four photos and an etching of a bundle of handkerchiefs next to an addressed envelope. The work consists of: Multiple of eight etching and relief etchings on handmade Japanese paper attached back-to-back, folded and tied with twine, and four photographs on machine-made resin-coated paper. In addition, there is a signed and inscribed note from the artist, also framed in this 3-D shadowbox frame.
