This fantastic, brightly-colored, playful, politically-charged silkscreen is by Hollywood born street/Pop artist Kenny Scharf, who came to prominence in the 1980s art scene in New York, along with Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

This work is a very rare printer’s proof, the very first of only six, aside from the regular edition of 150. It was acquired from a special sale to benefit the San Francisco charity Openhouse, which enables LGBT seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs.

This work is in excellent condition. A bright, dramatic impression, and a classic example of the artist's work.
