Artist's Statement:

Here’s Peter, our beloved twelve-year-old mutt that we adopted when he was a puppy. We’ve all been going slightly stir crazy during lockdown but having Peter around to keep us company has made the circumstances more bearable. We captured this photograph of Peter longing to be outside early on in the pandemic and thought it was a perfect depiction of how we all feel during these trying times. Since society has begun re-opening, he has spent less time in front of the window, and more time helping us explore Upstate New York’s great outdoors which has helped all of us both physically and mentally. .”
