This rare and historic silkscreen invitation poster was created for the 1967 exhibition of Frank Stella's paintings at the legendary Leo Castelli Gallery. The poster itself is extremely valuable and collectible. However, exceptionally, Frank Stella hand signed and dated the work boldly in black marker in 2015, for the benefit of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts in New York City. An exhibition of posters from their collection, including this one, was held in 2016 at the David Zwirner Gallery in Manhattan.
