A descendent of John Trumbull and Alice Trumbull Mason, and the wife of more than half a century of painter Wolf Kahn -- she was also a superb painter in her own right known for her poignant lyrical abstractions. This work is newly framed in a white wood museum frame with UV conservation, but bears the original Landmark gallery label with inventory number and artist's address on the verso to preserve the provenance.
