Etching (eau forte) on Chiffon de Mandeure paper. Hand signed and annotated H.C. (Hors Commerce). Floated and framed with beveled edges.

"Elkar IV" is a very scarce etching from 1969 - more than half a century ago - a very desirable graphic work for the Chillida collector. It is an Hors Commerce (originally not for sale), aside from the regular edition of 50. This etching is rarely seen on the market, and is especially uncommon stateside, but back in 2007, a work from the regular edition sold for nearly $5,000 at Christies in Europe. See comparable below:
