Description
This extremely rare offset lithograph poster was created on the occasion of the Ed Ruscha exhibition at the Lannan Museum from March 18 - June 12, 1988 in Lake Worth Florida. This poster features Ruscha's painting "Words Without Thoughts" created in 1985. (The Lannan Museum was ultimately donated to Palm Beach Community College, and the Foundation, which supports poetry and artists, relocated to Los Angeles and later Santa Fe. ) This is a bright impression of a rarely seen vintage Ruscha poster, created in a small amount on the occasion of an exclusive event - the Palm Beach Festival of 1988 - and thus is extremely uncommon, all the more so when hand signed. In fact we have yet to see another of these wonderful hand signed posters on the market. In fine condition. Makes a great gift for any Ed Ruscha fan!
