Published on the occasion of Ed Ruscha's widely acclaimed homecoming retrospective at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. Exactly ten (10) and no more of these prints were hand signed by Ed Ruscha, so this is a true limited edition collectors' item.
According to documentation provided by the Arts Center, there were 100 prints published; 90 were unsigned. The hand signed prints, like the present work, are in an official stated limited edition of only 10 (unnumbered). The present work is based upon Ed Ruscha’s 1962 work Oklahoma-E, which was later featured in the acclaimed retrospective Ed Ruscha Now/Then at the Museum of Modern Art in 2023-4.
