This dazzling two sided limited edition commemorative bronze medallion with thick gold patina, richly carved on both sides with the artist's classic sculptural shapes and designs. It bears the artist's engraved signature, the mark of the famous Johnson Foundry in Milan, and text commemorating the bank's 75th anniversary. It was created by Arnaldo Pomodoro in an edition of 500 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Sudameris Bank, and the design reproduces the artist's large disk installed on the front court facing the steps of the Banque Sudameris in Sao Paolo, Brazil. This work is registered in the Arnaldo Pomodo Foundation archives : M/ 85 / 6b.

Minor brushing to the metal overall, otherwise in very good vintage condition. Would look beautiful floated against a perspex base.

Signature: Stamped and Signed: The artist's incised signature is on the recto front, along with the incised text "S. Johnson Italy", - the Johnson Foundry in Milan, where Pomodoro casts many of his works, along with the incised text in block letters "BANQUE SUDAMERIS 75 ANNIVERSAIRE 1985"
