This screenprint represents Pop Art master Jim Dine's contribution to the legendary 1960s portfolio 11 Pop Artists I, the first of a series of three, which also featured works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Allan D'Arcangelo, John Wesley, Peter Phillips, James Rosenquist, Allen Jones, Gerald Laing, Mel Ramos, and Tom Wesselmann. This iconic portfolio was published during the most influential era of Pop Art movement. Many impressions of this print are already in the permanent collections of major museums and public institutions worldwide like the Museum of Modern Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. 

This work was acquired as part of a complete 11 Pop Artists I portfolio, contained in the original slipcase with colophon pages. This work is held in the original white portfolio sleeve, which will be included for the winning bidder. This is the first time since 1966 that it will be separated from the original portfolio.
