Jacques Lipchitz, "The Bull and the Condor", 1962

Jacques Lipchitz
$0.00
Current Stock: 1

Description

Here is a beautiful lithograph of mythological abstract Cubist figures by legendary 20th Century sculptor Jacques Lipchitz.   This early 1960s lithograph is quite scarce as many of the other editions are already held in the permanent collections of major institutions such as MOMA, LACMA, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, etc.

This work was removed from the vintage frame and is affixed to a complementary brown matting, ready for re-framing. A fine example.

Jacques Lipchitz is one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century.

Signed in pencil and numbered 30/100; with the blind stamp of the publisher, Tamarind Lithography Workshop and of the master printer, Emilion Soriani.

Exhibition History: A Retrospective Selected by the Artist, published by UCLA Art Council, 1963 (Another Edition)
