Description
Although this is a poster, it is printed on lithographic paper rather than smooth wove paper with elegant edges which makes it especially desirable. Signed and dated 1983 in pencil lower right front. This vintage Ed Ruscha lithograph from the "Chicago International Art Exposition, Art 85 Chicago, May 19-24, Navy Pier", features "A Fan and its Surroundings". It is very rare and collectible when hand signed as this. There aren't too many of these - hand signed as this - to be found. Unframed and in very good condition.
SIGNATURE
Signed and dated by Ed Ruscha in graphite pencil lower right. Also, separately, bears his plate signature under the image depicted in the poster.
